Persons with Disabilities

Persons with disabilities can drive and drive safely but may need specific training and in some cases, adaptive equipment. A-1 Driving School can provide experienced state certified instructors and an equipped vehicle.

A-1 has vehicles equipped with;

Hand Controls
Left and right side spinner knobs
Turn Signal crossover
Left foot accelerator

Driving Evaluations

A-1 Driving School has qualified instructors who can provide assistance with patient driving evaluations. We can help by providing a 45 minute driving evaluation of an individuals current driving skills in a vehicle that has adaptive equipment that may be necessary. We will provide information to Medical Professionals concerned about a patient driving that can help the medical professional determine weather or not a patient needs additional training or adaptive equipment to drive safely.

45 Minute Driving Evaluation	$100
1 1/2 Hour Private Session with Hand Controls	$125
(3) 1 1/2 Hour Private Session with Hand Controls	$325
Complete Driver Education course with Hand Controls	$490
