Student Eligibility: A student may not commence
instruction before reaching 15 years or age. If student has not completed the
workbook and passed the final exam within 90 days of registration date, student
will fail the course and must re-register for the program to continue.
Tuition and Textbook Fee: The student agrees to pay
A-1 Driving School the total tuition of $100.00 at the time of registration. A
$25.00 fee will be charged if the textbook is damaged or returned upon
completion of the course. A $20.00 fee will be charged if the student needs a
replacement workbook.
Refunds after Withdrawl: Students may request a
refund if they withdraw within 2 weeks of registration. A $25.00 service fee
will be assessed in addition to any textbook fees that may apply. Student
refunds will not be issued sooner than 15 days after the student registration.
Medical Information: The student must supply
information regarding physical and mental disabilities. The report must be
submitted to A-1 Driving School at the time of registration.
Alcohol and Drugs: A-1 Driving School has no
tolerance for student consumption of alcohol, illegal drugs, or any chemical
which may interfere with students performance during the testing portion of the
program. Any alcohol or illegal drug use while participating in this program at
an A-1 Driving School location will result in the student's immediate dismissal
without refund.
Cheating: A-1 Driving School has a no tolerance
policy for cheating. If it is discovered that the student has not completed
his/her own workbook or that cheating has occured while taking the final exam,
the student fails the course and no refund will be issuedTest Readiness: Upon completion of the course, the student
will receive the state classroom completion certificate ordered in his/her
name. This document confirms the successfull completion of state driver
education classroom requirements. A-1 Driving School will not make any specific
recommendations on behind the wheel instruction.
A-1 Driving School will provide the student with 30
hours of driver education home study correspondence instruction. Instruction
materials meet all state requirements and have been approved by the state of
Nevada. There is no guarantee of the student passing the state driving or road
test nor of completing the course in a 30 hour period.
